Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) role offers the chance to collaborate with educational professionals and have a direct impact on students’ communication skills. The assignment runs from September 2, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with 32 hours per week.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Washington SLPA license required
- Previous experience supporting K-12 students in a school setting is preferred
- Strong understanding of speech and language development strategies for diverse learners
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
- Adaptable to different grade levels and caseload requirements
Core Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans designed by supervising SLPs
- Provide direct therapy to students, both individually and in group settings
- Accurately document student progress and session outcomes
- Assist in preparing materials and organizing therapy activities
- Maintain effective collaboration with educators, support staff, and families
- Support generalization of speech and language skills within school environments
