This full-time, contract position ensures you'll be part of the school community throughout the academic calendar, starting in late August and wrapping up in mid-June.

Your expertise in school-based speech-language services will support students’ communication and academic progress. As part of a collaborative team, you’ll work closely with educators and families to develop and implement effective therapy plans. Candidates must bring strong communication skills, compassion, and a commitment to student success.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Valid and active Washington State SLP license
• Experience working in school settings preferred
• Comfortable providing services across K-12 populations
• Commitment to onsite, in-person therapy (remote or VOCO not an option)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in K-12
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with multidisciplinary teams
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to further student progress
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements
• Provide support and resources for families and classroom educators
