Special Education Teacher - New Oxford, PA

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Details:

• Attend staff inservice on July 7, 2026
• Deliver instruction to students from July 8 to July 30, 2026, Monday through Thursday
• Summer hours: approximately 8:15 am–11:45 am
• Anticipated school-year hours for 2026-2027: 7:45 am–3:15 pm

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification in Pennsylvania
• Prior experience or strong interest in working with diverse student abilities
• Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
• Effective communication with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to collaborate and adapt in a school setting

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to student needs
• Create a supportive environment that encourages academic and social-emotional growth
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Collaborate with related service providers, aides, and administrative staff
• Communicate regularly with families on student achievements and challenges
• Participate in team meetings, professional training, and inservice sessions
