Job Description
Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist supporting a dynamic imaging department. This contract role offers a structured schedule, collaborative environment, and the chance to work with state-of-the-art technology while providing critical diagnostic services.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, day shifts (6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
- Orientation occurs Wednesday through Friday
- 1 day of call per week (weekday coverage 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., rotating weekend/holiday call 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m.; minimum 2-hour call-back if called in)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a wide range of nuclear medicine scans, including stress, gastric, gallbladder, bone, parathyroid, thyroid, brain, and renal imaging
- Employ GE NM830 and GE Optima 640 SPECT/CT systems, as well as Q-Stress stress machines
- Collaborate with two other technologists daily across two scanners
- Perform scans for 5–10 patients per day depending on case mix (excluding PET scans and nuclear medicine therapies)
- Provide accurate diagnostic imaging with attention to quality and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio state license and NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification required
- If not currently licensed in Ohio, prompt application for ODH licensing is necessary; reimbursement available after hiring
- Experience with advanced nuclear medicine equipment preferred
- Strong communication skills and commitment to collaborative patient care
- Ability to provide updated resume, professional reference, completed Relias checklist, current credentials, and scheduling availability for interview
