Contract Assignment through September 2026
Kelly Services is seeking an experienced SNAP-Ed Project Manager to support an important public health initiative focused on increasing healthy food choices and active living among SNAP consumers throughout Ohio.
This is an excellent opportunity for a public health professional who is passionate about community impact, nutrition access, grant administration, and program evaluation. You'll collaborate with community organizations across the state to implement initiatives that improve access to healthy food environments in urban, suburban, and rural communities.
What You'll Do- Lead the administration of a statewide mini-grant program supporting up to 125 community sites across Ohio
- Coordinate site identification, application review, grant awards, and compliance activities
- Partner with organizations such as:
- Farmers markets
- Food pantries
- Early childcare centers
- K-12 schools
- Develop and implement evaluation plans to measure program reach, effectiveness, and outcomes
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to funded initiatives
- Create and disseminate compelling success stories that highlight community impact
- Develop outreach and marketing materials to increase awareness of SNAP-Ed interventions
- Provide technical assistance and training to community partners
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, including the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services
- May supervise project staff, research assistants, or contractors supporting program activities
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Community Nutrition, Sociology, Social Work, or a related field
- 5-8 years of related experience required
- Experience with community-based programs, grant administration, public health initiatives, or nutrition programs
- Knowledge of SNAP programs and Policy, Systems, and Environmental (PSE) change strategies preferred
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting program data
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other data collection/reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
