Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a pivotal school-based role serving K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated professionals and support students' communication skills in a dynamic, supportive environment. The school year runs from September 2, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with a weekly schedule of 32 hours, allowing you to make a meaningful impact across a diverse caseload.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Washington State SLPA license required
- Experience in school-based settings highly valued
- Comfortable working with K-12 students with a variety of speech and language needs
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:
- Support licensed SLPs in delivering evidence-based interventions to students
- Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals under supervision
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session notes
- Participate in meetings with staff and families, providing insights into student achievements
- Adapt therapy materials and approaches to suit each student’s unique needs
