Job Description
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into an engaging contract role supporting classrooms as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) serving students with significant behavioral and physical needs. This position begins September 8, 2026, and continues through June 10, 2027, offering the chance to impact the lives of students in both South and North Education Centers. You’ll work in a single building environment while managing a caseload of 35-40 students, primarily in Setting 4, focusing on those with the highest support requirements.
In this opportunity, you will:
- Oversee behavior support plans and conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)
- Manage a diverse caseload across multiple classrooms in a specialized educational environment
- Collaborate closely with classroom staff to provide ongoing support and debriefings
- Complete all essential paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Deliver training and guidance to paraprofessionals and teachers regarding behavior intervention
- Support staff and students in achieving educational goals within a Setting 4 district for those with complex challenges
Desired background and qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Demonstrated experience working with students exhibiting severe behavioral and/or physical disabilities
- Confident in implementing and adjusting behavior plans in high-needs educational settings
- Comfortable handling documentation, FBAs, and behavior data collection
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
- Adaptable and solution-oriented, thriving in dynamic school environments
