Job Title: Packaging Line Worker
Job Description
This role involves working in a fast-paced production facility to support the packaging line by packaging, labeling, and loading finished products. You will help maintain consistent product quality through basic quality checks and perform other related production tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate and support the packaging line in a fast-paced production environment.
- Package finished products according to established standards and procedures.
- Label products accurately to ensure correct identification and traceability.
- Load finished products onto pallets, carts, or designated areas for storage or shipment.
- Assist with basic quality checks to verify that products meet specifications.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently as needed to support production.
- Assist with general production, assembly, and related tasks assigned by supervision.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work assigned shifts reliably and flexibly, including potential weekend or additional hours as needed.
Skills
- Production or assembly work experience.
- Material handling experience in a warehouse or production environment.
- Experience with loading and unloading materials or finished goods.
- Willingness to work additional hours when needed to support production demands.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Work Environment
The role is based in a semi climate-controlled production facility with a focus on safety and efficiency. Work is performed on multiple shifts, Monday through Friday, including 1st shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.), and 3rd shift (11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.). Weekend shifts are also available, with a weekend AM shift on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and a weekend PM shift on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Saturday work is usually voluntary. The environment involves working around production equipment and packaging lines, requiring adherence to safety procedures
