Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The position will be based within a supportive district near Simpsonville and Greer, SC, with locations finalized before the start date.
The assignment runs from August 4th, 2026, through May 27th, 2027, including dedicated pre- and post-planning days. You’ll enjoy a stable, consistent schedule, working two days a week (7.5 hours per day), totaling 15 hours weekly. The current caseload involves providing direct occupational therapy services to approximately 8-10 students per day. Sessions last around 30 minutes each, ensuring focused, individualized support for every student you serve. Plus, you will be supported by an available OTR supervisor in the district.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina COTA license (required)
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Progress monitor, document services, and participate in team meetings
- Partner with supervising OTR and school staff to implement effective strategies
- Support students’ development of functional skills for academic performance
