Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a resource-based special education setting for the upcoming 2026 academic year! You’ll be working full-time at an elementary school, collaborating closely with a dedicated team of case managers, paraprofessionals, and behavior analysts. The assignment spans the full school year, with the possibility of a few planning days before and after the core dates: August 31, 2026 – June 17, 2027.

You'll be responsible for a caseload of approximately 15-20 students across grades 1 through 4, offering both individual support and small group instruction within a resource classroom. Enjoy building relationships with students at the heart of early elementary development, knowing the kindergarten group is already supported, allowing you to focus on grades 1-4. Classes are reinforced by 1:1 para support, providing a collaborative and well-resourced work environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid NH Educator Teaching Certification
  • Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher serving 1st-4th grade students
  • Background in designing and adapting curriculum and interventions for a resource setting
  • Strong collaboration skills with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and behavioral supports

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of elementary students, develop and implement IEP goals, and monitor progress
  • Provide direct instruction in both classroom resource settings and push-in situations as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, maintain documentation, and engage with families
  • Collaborate to support positive student outcomes, working hand-in-hand with paraprofessionals and behavior analysts

Experience an empowering, supportive school culture while helping shape young learners’ futures. If you're passionate about making a difference for students, this full-time contract could be your next chapter.

Apply now and take the next step toward an inspiring, impactful role in special education!
