Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Document Specialist to support our aerospace manufacturing and quality teams. In this role, you will help manage and process technical documentation, inspection records, and aerospace blueprints to ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance throughout the production process.
This position is ideal for an early-career mechanical or electrical engineering professional who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced aerospace and precision manufacturing environment. You will work closely with quality, engineering, and production teams while developing valuable experience with aerospace documentation standards and quality systems.
Responsibilities- Review, organize, and process aerospace blueprints and related technical documentation for inspection and production activities.
- Support the quality department by ensuring inspection reports, certifications, and related records are accurate and properly maintained.
- Use internal systems and software to associate documentation with the correct parts, assemblies, and manufacturing records.
- Collaborate with production, machining, engineering, and quality teams to maintain efficient workflow and documentation accuracy.
- Verify document completeness, revision control, and traceability in accordance with company quality standards.
- Assist in identifying documentation discrepancies and communicate issues to appropriate departments for resolution.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical records to support audits, inspections, and customer requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to documentation processes and quality procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering documentation.
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn internal software systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams.
- Foundational understanding of manufacturing, engineering, or quality processes.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Exposure to aerospace, manufacturing, machining, or quality assurance environments.
- Familiarity with inspection documentation, document control, or quality systems.
- Internship, coursework, or hands-on experience in manufacturing or engineering environments is a plus.

This role is based in a precision aerospace manufacturing environment supporting machining, fabrication, and assembly operations. Daily work includes interacting with technical documentation, inspection reports, and internal quality systems in a highly collaborative, detail-focused setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
