Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an onsite Special Education Teacher for an ESY (Extended School Year) assignment. The assignment runs from July 8th, 2026, to July 30th, 2026, with the potential to extend into the 26/27 academic year.

Your schedule for ESY is Monday through Thursday, approximately 8:15am to 11:45am. Should your assignment extend into the school year, hours would transition to 7:45am to 3:15pm.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification required
• Experience working in K-12 special education settings
• Strong skills in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Understanding of various learning disabilities and effective instructional strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs within the classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to students with diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for assigned students
• Utilize differentiated instruction to support student progress
• Collaborate with staff, families, and related service providers
• Collect and report on relevant student data
• Maintain a positive, supportive classroom climate
• Participate in staff inservice day on July 7th, 2026
