American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Skilled Nursing (SNF) position in Janesville, WI, working day shifts with weekend and holiday rotation requirements.
Details- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting within a hospital environment
- Day shift schedule, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (0630–1900)
- 0.9 FTE, 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Every third weekend required
- Holiday rotation required
- Floating to other inpatient units may be required based on census
- Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required
- Education verification required for consideration
- Prior skilled nursing experience required
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and standards of care
- Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, including patient and family education
- Document patient care according to established standards
- Apply critical thinking to patient safety and experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command
- Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance
