  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members.
  • Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing.
  • Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry.
  • Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance and a basic dysrhythmia test out will be given first week of assignment, which must be passed to work on telemetry/med surg unit.
    Job Requirements
  • BLS certification required (AHA or ARC acceptable).
  • ACLS certification required.
  • NIH Certification required (American Heart Association or Apex Innovations ONLY).
  • Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification required, including BON & NURSYS for RNs.
  • Must pass a basic dysrhythmia test out during first week of assignment to work on telemetry/med surg unit.
    Schedule Information
  • Set work week of Saturday - Monday.
  • Traveler may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census and must be able to respond and arrive on-site within one hour if called in.

  • Telemetry/Medical Surgical Unit.
  • Basic dysrhythmia test out required during first week of assignment to work on telemetry/med surg unit.
    Additional Details
  • BD Screening Attestation required prior to onboarding.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine required; declination accepted.
  • MMR vaccination or positive titer required; booster or declination accepted if low or equivocal.
  • Fit Test completed prior to start; acceptable masks include Moldex 1510, 3M 1860s, 3M 1860, Moldex 1513, 3M 1870+ Respirator.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or positive titer required; booster or declination accepted if low or equivocal.
  • TB Test proof of negative test within past year required; if history of positive test, additional documentation required.
  • Health Statement from physician within last 12 months required.
  • Driver's License/State ID must be current and valid during assignment.
  • GRH Background Check within 30 days of start required.
  • GRH Iowa Adult and Child Abuse state requirement.
  • GRH Education Verification through 3rd party required.
  • GRH EPLS/GSA/SAM HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start required.
  • Two professional references required, one must be from supervisor.
  • GRH Drug Screen within 30 days of start required.
  • GRH Skills Checklist completed within 12 months required.
  • GRH SING check within 30 days of start required.
  • GRH Resume or Profile required.
  • GRH I9 Attestation required.
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer required; booster or declination accepted if low or equivocal.
  • Tdap valid for 10 years required; declinations accepted.
  • GRH Color Vision test required.
  • GRH Contract Employee Data Sheet required.
  • GRH NSO check within 30 days of start required.
  • GRH OFAC check within 30 days of start required.
  • GRH Evergreen Link must be completed within 48 hours of offer acceptance.
  • GRH OSHA Questionnaire must be completed by candidate.
  • Pre-Orientation CBL Acknowledgement required.
  • Influenza Vaccine required annually by 12/01; vaccine or facility declination accepted.
