Job Summary\n

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide direct patient care in various PACU settings, including inpatient and outpatient recovery rooms.
\n
• Monitor patients' vital signs and readiness for transfer from PACU to other care units.
\n
• Manage pre- and post-operative care for a variety of surgical procedures, excluding open-heart surgeries.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
\n
• Ensure accurate documentation of all care in the Sunrise EMR system.
\n
• Participate in on-call rotations for weekend and holiday coverage as required.
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Current RN license with willingness to disclose licensing hits.
\n
• Minimum requirement of BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
\n
• Proficient in reading and interpreting cardiac telemetry strips.
\n
• Experience with ventilator-assisted patients, coordinated with Respiratory Therapy.
\n
• Adaptable to working across multiple PACU settings, including floating to different departments as needed.
\n
• Ability to provide own Navy Blue scrubs for work in the Anesthesia Clinic.
\n
