American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital position in Kentucky, treating both adult and geriatric inpatient and outpatient cases.
Details- Day shift position, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
- 13-week contract
- Inpatient and outpatient setting serving adult and geriatric populations
- 36/48 rotating schedule required — alternating weeks of 3x12 and 4x12 shifts (84 hours per two-week period)
- Active OT license — KY Compact or State license required; license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Driver's license with permanent address matching provided address required for consideration
- 2 professional references required: 1 Charge Nurse or higher, and 1 supervisor reference, both completed within the last year
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- Candidates must be willing and able to accept the 36/48 rotating schedule; inability to do so may result in cancellation
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be considered, but must be submitted upfront — no changes will be accepted after an offer is made
- Travelers must be willing to work either a major or minor holiday during the assignment
- Travelers who have worked at this facility for one year must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return
- Orientation is held bi-weekly
- Travel pairs are accepted in limited numbers, but pairs will not be placed on the same shift or unit
