Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – Full-Time | Fletcher Hills Dental Arts | San Diego / El Cajon

Fletcher Hills Dental Arts is a well-established, multi-provider private dental practice seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team.

• Full-Time, Monday–Friday
• Patient Hours:
  • Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (hygiene starts at 7:00 AM)
  • Friday: Administrative day
• Rotating early start shifts: approximately 6:45 AM – 7:30 AM
• 8-hour clinical days with occasional overtime based on patient volume and needs
• Occasional coverage may be required at nearby affiliated offices

• $25–$30 per hour (DOE)

• 3–5+ years RDA experience in general dentistry (required)
• Dentrix experience required
• Current California RDA license
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, multi-provider environment

• Assist dentists in 4-handed dentistry procedures
• Full-scope RDA duties per California regulations
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
• Sterilization and infection control compliance
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment
• Support efficient clinical workflow and scheduling flow
• Cross-training in front office is a strong plus

• Reliable, consistent, and punctual
• Team-oriented and low-drama
• Proactive and able to take initiative
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication with patients and team members
• Comfortable in a busy, high-volume dental setting
• Coachable and open to feedback
