\n We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse to join a highly skilled surgical team in Utica, New York. This travel assignment offers competitive pay, guaranteed hours, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced adult cardiovascular surgical unit.
\n Minimum Requirements
\n Active New York RN License
\n Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR RN experience
\n Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree or higher)
\n Experience caring for adult cardiovascular surgical patients
\n Required Certifications
\n BLS (Basic Life Support)
\n ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
\n Preferred Qualifications
\n Experience with Epic EMR
\n Experience using Omnicell
\n Strong knowledge of adult cardiovascular surgical procedures
\n Unit Highlights
\n Adult Cardiovascular Operating Room
\n 2 Operating Rooms
\n 1:1 Nurse-to-Patient Ratio
\n Common procedures include:
\n Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)
\n Aortic Stenosis (AS)
\n Mitral Regurgitation (MR)
\n Additional Information
\n On-call requirement: Up to 7 days every 4 weeks, including one full weekend
\n Floating may be required based on patient census
\n Both local and travel candidates are welcome to apply
\n Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive the local pay package
