American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient/inpatient rehab position at a hospital-based facility in Marion, SC, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and an active SC or Compact PT license.
Details- Hospital-based inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation unit
- Day shift schedule: 5x8s, 8:00am – 4:30pm
- No weekend or on-call requirements; holiday coverage may be required
- Floating within scope to other units or sister facilities may be required
- Documents Epic EMR
- Free parking on-site
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Active SC or Multi-State Compact Physical Therapist license required at the start of the contract; candidates with a pending license may be considered
- AHA BLS certification required
- SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- License required if applicable
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
- All RTO requests must be submitted upfront; approval is based on facility needs
- Online orientation modules are completed prior to the start date

- Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September
