Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Iron Mountain, Michigan.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts with variable start times: 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, or 3:00 PM
\n• Every other weekend requirement (Saturday and Sunday)
\n• Holiday requirements: minimum 2 out of 3 winter holidays, typically every other holiday during contract
\n• Nurse to patient ratios: 1:3-4 during day shifts, higher ratios at night after 11:00 PM
\n• After 3:00 AM, only 2 RNs staffed until 7:00 AM
\n• 2 years of emergency department experience required
\n• Open to first-time travelers and duo assignments
\n• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC
\n• Michigan nursing license must be in hand upon submission
\n• Floating requirements to inpatient units for additional support when needed
\n• Volunteer opportunity to go home without pay when census is low
\n• Dress code: any solid color scrubs, clean and professional appearance
\n• Computer-based training plus 2 days of floor orientation required
\n• Must clock in and out at facility
\n• Treat 40-60 patients per day on average with diagnoses including trauma, STEMI, stroke, hunting injuries, MVAs, and farm-related injuries
\n• Work in 14-bed emergency department with 2 trauma bays and 3 fast track rooms
\n• Triage responsibilities available after orientation to facility policies and procedures
\n• Must note if previously worked for this healthcare system with 6-month gap requirement

\nThis healthcare facility operates a Level IV trauma center emergency department with comprehensive emergency services. The facility features a 14-bed emergency department with 2 dedicated trauma bays, 3 fast track rooms, and 2 triage areas. The emergency department provides 24/7 physician coverage and treats a diverse patient population including trauma cases, cardiac emergencies, and stroke patients. The facility maintains modern equipment and support services with 24/7 respiratory therapy, phlebotomy, radiology, and CT services readily available.
