American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Med/Surg (5C) night shift position in Peoria, IL, requiring Epic EMR experience and an active Illinois RN license.
Details- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, three days per week (36 hours/week)
- Cardiac Med/Surg unit (5C) in a hospital setting
- Every other weekend shift required
- Every other holiday shift required
- May float to like units as needed
- Active Illinois RN license in good standing required (temporary license accepted)
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience required
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Conducts initial patient assessments, develops and implements individualized plans of care, and adjusts care plans based on ongoing patient evaluation
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation to support the broader healthcare team
- Promotes patient and staff safety by identifying and addressing potential hazards
- Candidates will be interviewed by a facility leader as part of the selection process
- RTO may not exceed 7 days for the duration of the 13-week contract
- Travelers who have been on continuous assignment with this health system for 1 year must take a 6-month break before returning to any facility within the system
