As a Senior Transportation Director, you will be responsible for a variety of projects, taking ownership from start to finish.

As a Senior Transportation Director, you will be responsible for a variety of projects, taking ownership from start to finish.
What are the core responsibilities for the role?

- Manage and lead Horrocks design teams to deliver transportation projects. \n
- Identify, pursue, and win new transportation engineering opportunities within the public and private sectors. \n
- Develop and track scope, budget, and schedules for transportation projects to successfully deliver projects \n
- Solicit and manage subconsultant engineering services \n
- Interface with public and private sector clients including state and municipal agencies \n
- Coordinate and conduct meetings with project stakeholders \n
- Coordinate with office management and other project managers to share resources \n
- Manage Quality Control/Quality Assurance activities per Horrocks’ Quality Program \n
- Cultivate client relationships and pursue business development opportunities \n
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
- \n
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering \n
- Professional Engineering license in AZ \n
- 15+ years of Project Management & Business Development Experience \n
- Preferred 10+ years of DOT experience \n
- Demonstrated experience delivering transportation projects for DOTs, municipalities, counties, or regional agencies. \n
- Willingness to work on projects locally or in workshare with other offices \n
- Possess a proven history of meeting project deadlines and budgets \n
- Solid written and oral communication skills \n
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills \n
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail \n
- Proficiency with MS Office application \n
- Experience with project accounting practices and systems \n
- Knowledge and experience with Open Roads Designer, InRoads and/or Geopak, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other applicable software common to the field of transportation engineering \n
- Experience in managing technical staff and project teams \n
- Ability to manage several projects concurrently \n
