American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift travel assignment, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and the ability to independently perform peripheral IV starts.
Details- Hospital-based CT scan unit
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- No set schedule — days are assigned based on facility need each week
- Floating within the facility per scope of practice as needed
- No on-call requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience
- Must be proficient and comfortable performing peripheral IV insertions independently
- Active professional licensure required (if applicable)
- Current certifications required — copies must be provided for consideration
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- RTO is capped at 7 days per contract; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
- Travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period — if one or two major holidays occur, no holiday RTO is permitted; if three occur, one holiday RTO request may be submitted for approval
- Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
- Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for at least one full year before returning as a traveler
- No alternate shifts or special scheduling requests are permitted — the posted night shift is firm
- Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred
- Compliance with all onboarding requirements must be completed on time; delays result in a two-week start date pushback due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule
