Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Pulmonary Stepdown (Progressive Care) night shift position in Indianapolis, IN, requiring at least 1 year of experience and active IN or compact RN licensure.

Details\n

\n
• 44-bed Medical Pulmonary Stepdown unit serving a medically complex patient population
\n
• All patients are on bedside cardiac monitors
\n
• Typical RN-to-patient ratio of 1:4
\n
• Active drips include heparin, insulin, cardizem, nicardipine, and dobutamine
\n
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
\n
• 36 hours per week
\n
• Every other weekend required
\n
• One major holiday per contract required
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active IN or compact RN license required
\n
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
\n
• BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
\n
• ACLS certification required (AHA-issued)
\n
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
\n
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
\n
• Two professional references required for consideration
\n
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
\n
• Copy of certifications and license verification/Nursys required for consideration
\n
