Job Description
Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Vascular Surgery for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Job Description & Requirements- Specialty: Vascular Surgery
- Discipline: RN
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 40 hours per week
- Shift: 10 hours, days
- Employment Type: Travel
2 years experience
ACLS, BLS Certification
Experience with peripheral artery bypass, AAA repair, carotid endarterectomies, fistula creation, amputations, and endovascular surgery (EVAR, TCAR, TAG) is required. Experience with sedation is preferred.
Thoracic experience is helpful.
Knowledge of open vascular and endovascular is required.
The role also requires the RN to circulate and sedate.
Preferably vascular experience, general surgery may be in the background.
Common Cases Cardiac surgery cases include CABG, valve repair/replacement (open and robotic), ECMO, transplant; Thoracic surgery includes robotic, endoscopic, and open procedures such as lung resection, VATS, esophagostomy (open and robotic), POEM, hiatal hernia repair, mediport, EGD, stents of GI and respiratory systems; Vascular surgery including diagnostic angiography and percutaneous interventions, surgical endarterectomy, dialysis access management, AAA repair (open and endovascular), visceral arterial repair/intervention, and amputation
