FACILITY INFORMATION

• No. of Beds in Department: 268
• Trauma Level: Level III

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• CT and ultrasound guided biopsies (excluding mammo)
• Drain placement: renal, biliary, gastric, gallbladder and abscess (in Cath lab and CT); Biliary stents
• Thoracentesis and paracentesis
• Dialysis procedures in Cath lab
• Occasional peripheral and pulmonary venous thrombosis cases
• Rare embolization procedures: GI and other bleeding

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active AR license or willing to obtain
• Experience: Fellowship in IR preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform diagnostic radiology interpretations
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, drain placements, thoracentesis/paracentesis, dialysis procedures, and occasional embolizations
• Provide on-site coverage Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Collaborate with hospital staff and referring physicians
• No call or weekend responsibilities
