  • Administer medications, CRIs, sedation, and anesthesia support for cardiac procedures when applicable
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure treatment plans are carried out efficiently

Client Communication

  • Educate clients on cardiac disease processes, diagnostic recommendations, treatment plans, medications, and home monitoring
  • Provide clear discharge instructions and follow-up guidance
  • Support clients through complex cardiac diagnoses with professionalism, empathy, and effective communication

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Cardiologist, ER, ICU, Surgery, Radiology, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and other specialty services to coordinate patient care
  • Assist in maintaining efficient patient flow and case management throughout the hospital
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities within ER/ICU to strengthen emergency and critical care skills
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented hospital culture
