Job Description
Picture starting your morning reviewing fabrication drawings, then heading to a construction site to fit and weld structural members. By midday you’re in an aerial lift, tying in new equipment, and later you’re troubleshooting a conveyor line in a manufacturing plant. You’ll typically keep four projects moving at once—balancing quality, safety, and schedules while working at height and in changing site conditions.
Core work you’ll do- Execute MIG and flux-cored arc welds on structural steel and industrial machinery
- Install equipment—rig, fit, align, and weld components into position
- Fabricate steel assemblies for new construction
- Repair and maintain conveyor systems
- Read and apply blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Uphold rigorous safety and workmanship standards across all jobs
Industrial job sites, manufacturing facilities, and active construction environments. Comfort with heights and variable conditions is essential.
Drive time: Paid—travel to and from job sites is compensated.
What you bring- Required: MIG welding; flux core welding; proficiency with vertical position welds; strong blueprint reading; ease working at heights; prior industrial experience preferred
- Plus: Structural steel fabrication; conveyor repair experience; equipment installation; new construction background; proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
Work comfortably on elevated platforms, structural steel, and aerial lifts; lift and maneuver heavy materials and equipment in industrial settings.
Proficiencies- OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
