Serramonte Automotive Group is actively seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager or General Sales Manager to help lead our Volkswagen, Subaru, and Kia operations to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate sales consultants.
  • Conduct daily sales meetings, one-on-one coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Create a culture of accountability, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop future leaders within the sales organization.


Sales Performance:

  • Drive showroom, internet, phone, and referral sales performance.
  • Monitor closing ratios, appointments, leads, and customer traffic.
  • Forecast monthly sales objectives and departmental profitability.
  • Work closely with Finance and Service departments to maximize dealership performance.


Customer Experience:

  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain strong CSI and manufacturer performance standards.


Inventory Management:

  • Manage inventory levels and aging units.
  • Collaborate with ownership and department managers on inventory acquisition and pricing strategies.
  • Develop action plans to maximize inventory turn and profitability.


Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer standards.
  • Analyze reports and key performance indicators.
  • Drive continuous process improvement throughout the sales department.



Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years’ Automotive Sales Manager or GSM experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and profitability goals.
  • Experience with high-volume dealerships preferred.
  • Strong desk management and deal-structuring skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Experience with CRM and dealership management systems.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
