Collection Representative

Location: This position is based on-site at our Corporate office in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Key Responsibilities

• Queue Management: Standardize daily workflows to efficiently manage a dedicated portfolio of accounts and consistently hit monthly recovery goals.   

• Communication: Conduct professional outbound and inbound collection calls using a strategic mix of manual dialing and high-activity dialer systems.   

  Negotiation & Payment: Partner with business and consumer debtors to negotiate payment terms, resolve disputes, and facilitate secure processing through our online payment portal.   

• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain meticulous, real-time account notes while strictly adhering to federal and state collection laws, required disclosures, and compliance guidelines.

Compensation & Benefits

  Base Pay: Competitive hourly rate of $16.00 – $22.00/hour (commensurate with experience and proven success)   

• Bonus Potential: Uncapped, performance-based monthly bonuses that can add up to an additional $22.00/hour to your earnings.   
• Total Earning Potential: With your monthly bonus, you can realistically make $38.00 – $44.00 per hour!

Required qualifications:

• 21+ years or older
• At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
• Comfortable handling customer complaints
• Available to work: weekdays

Preferred qualifications:

• 6+ months of experience in the customer service industry
