📚 Now Hiring: 2026-2027 Substitute Teachers and Substitute Paraprofessionals for West Plains R-VII School District! 

Penmac Education Staffing is seeking passionate and dedicated Substitute Teachers and Substitute Paraprofessionals to serve in the West Plains R-VII School District 2026-2027. This is a fantastic opportunity to support local students, enjoy a flexible work schedule, and earn competitive pay—all while making a meaningful impact. 

• $120 per full day 

• $125 per day for retired West Plains R-VII teachers 

💼 What You’ll Do: 

• Deliver lessons based on plans provided by the regular teacher 

• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment 

• Adapt teaching methods to meet student needs 

• Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, and cafeterias 

• Assign classwork and homework as needed 

• For long-term roles: create lesson plans aligned with curriculum

✅ What You’ll Need: 

• 36 college credit hours (any subject) OR completion of a DESE-approved online training program 

• A valid Missouri Teaching License or Substitute Certificate 

• Fingerprint background check (contact Penmac before completing)

• Pre-employment drug screen -THC is not permitted 

• Completion of Penmac-provided training
