Quality Technician - 2nd Shift

South Paris, Maine Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM-2:00 AM

Precinmac is a leading supplier of mission-critical, high-precision machined components for aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and automation industries. We're looking for a Quality Technician who takes pride in accuracy, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to upholding the highest standards.

What You'll Do
  • Inspection & Testing - Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections using CMMs, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools
  • Blueprint Interpretation - Read and apply engineering drawings, GD&T, and material specifications
  • Documentation - Create inspection reports, NCRs, FAIs, and maintain quality logs
  • Calibration - Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment
  • SPC & Data Analysis - Manage SPC, run capability studies, and analyze process data
  • Continuous Improvement - Support root cause analysis, FMEA, and CAPA initiatives
  • Compliance - Ensure adherence to AS9100, FAA, and internal quality standards
  • Collaboration - Partner with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues

What You Bring
  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM)
  • Strong GD&T and blueprint reading skills
  • Understanding of aerospace quality systems (AS9100)
  • Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, PPAP, and related methodologies
  • Analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and strong communication skills

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma required; Associate degree in Quality or a technical field preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing
  • Experience with ERP or QMS software
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to collaborate across teams
