Environmental Service Attendant

Our client, located in New Orleans, LA, is seeking Environmental Service Attendants to join their team. As an Environmental Service Attendant, you will be part of the facility operations team supporting event staff, supervisors, convention center operations, and guests during conventions, meetings, trade shows, and special events.

Pay Range:

• $22.48/hr
 

Shift Hours:

• 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• 6:30 PM – 11:30 PM
• 7:30 PM – 11:30 PM

Schedule:

• Heavy Thursday – Sunday
• Must be available all days based on event schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
 

• Assist with event setup and teardown, including moving and arranging tables, chairs, staging, and linens.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and maintain cleanliness throughout the convention center.
• Monitor and clean public restrooms, restock supplies, and empty trash containers.
• Collect waste and recyclables and transport materials to designated disposal areas.
• Remove spills, debris, and potential safety hazards to maintain a safe environment.
• Assist guests by answering questions and providing directions during events.
 

• Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, lift, push, and carry materials throughout the shift.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and operate commercial cleaning equipment.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
