Safety Representative - New Albany, OH

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular field safety inspections and/or more formal audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Must be able and willing to engage negative behavior and/or conditions to complete resolution.
Investigate accidents and incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that safety is a top priority on the site.
Maintain accurate records of all safety-related incidents and activities – entering the approved data software for advancing and /or data retention.
Be capable of working with multiple subcontractors and their respective safety representatives.
Ability to work extended work hours during the week and/or possibly weekend (over 40).

Requirements:

Minimum of (5) years of experience in construction safety.
Bilingual preferred but not required.
OSHA 510 & 30 - Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other safety standards.
CHST certification is required.
Experience with building data centers is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and more collaboratively, as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant safety data analysis/retention software.
Knowledge and experience working with lower tier subcontract documents and requirements thereof.
