Dock Worker

CDR ProSource is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dock Worker to join our team in Three Rivers, MI. This position plays a critical role in supporting shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory control, and production operations within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, and committed to maintaining quality and accuracy in all aspects of the job.

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

-Shipping
• Verify outbound shipments against pick lists, packing slips, and customer orders
• Band, wrap, load, and unload finished goods while ensuring products remain secure and protected
• Prepare and attach Bills of Lading (BOLs), labels, and shipping documentation
• Stage completed orders by carrier or destination and coordinate pickups with drivers
• Inspect products during packing and report incomplete shipments or missing documentation

-Receiving
• Unload incoming materials, supplies, and tooling using forklifts or pallet jacks as needed
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders for accuracy and condition
• Ensure all received materials are approved by Quality Control or Management before entering inventory
• Move materials to designated staging and storage locations

-Oil Impregnation Process
• Operate and maintain oil impregnation and vacuum chamber equipment according to established procedures
• Maintain oil usage logs and related documentation
• Monitor oil levels and request replenishment as needed
• Keep oil storage containers, funnels, and absorbent materials organized and properly labeled

-Material Handling
• Follow proper labeling and segregation procedures for materials and finished products
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment when authorized
• Dispose of scrap materials and damaged pallets in designated areas
• Maintain clean and organized transport aisles and work areas

-Documentation & Inventory
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Complete routing, traveler, and production documentation as required
• Assist with inventory counts and inventory control activities
• Coordinate closely with Quality Control to ensure products are approved before shipping or processing

Safety & Housekeeping
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dock and work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Report safety concerns and equipment issues promptly
• Support company initiatives related to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

• Must be 18 years or older
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, dock work, or material handling experience preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Ability to lift, move, and transport materials throughout the facility
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork and inventory records
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
