Cherry Picker Operator – Tire Distribution Warehouse
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday
Hours: 5:00 PM until end of production

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cherry Picker Operator to join a fast-paced tire distribution warehouse on the evening shift. This position requires operating a cherry picker forklift to retrieve, move, and store tires throughout the warehouse. Candidates must be comfortable performing physical labor, including handling and moving tires manually.
Responsibilities
- Operate a cherry picker forklift safely and efficiently.
- Pick, pull, and stage tire orders for shipment.
- Load, unload, and transport tires throughout the warehouse.
- Manually handle and move tires as needed.
- Accurately scan and track inventory using warehouse systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent Cherry Picker operating experience.
- Previous warehouse experience required.
- Experience working in a tire, automotive, or heavy material warehouse is a plus.
- Comfortable lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling tires weighing up to 120 lbs with proper lifting techniques and team assistance when necessary.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to safety and accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving of tires.
- Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 120 lbs.
- Ability to work on feet throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
Candidates must be comfortable with both forklift operation and hands-on material handling, as this role involves moving tires manually throughout the day. Overtime may be required based on production needs.
