Engineering Shift Manager

The Engineering Shift Manager supervising team members and contractors and scheduling maintenance and repairing of the entire property. To be capable of handling emergency situations and notify proper authorities for assistance and repairs.

Duties:

• Report to work timely, in proper uniform and appearance and maintain standard throughout the entire property.

• Must be capable of excellent communication skills with team members, departments, and guests.

• Have basic knowledge of the following skills:

  • Supervising repairs of the entire property.

  • Supervising the scheduling of maintenance of entire property.

  • Must be liaison between departments and inter department and guest.

  • Supervising contractors on repairs and maintenance on entire property.

  • Must read blueprints and work around electrical, water and gas feed lines.

• Maintain an orderly schedule of preventative maintenance in casino, restaurants, banquets and kitchens and hotel areas.

• Respond promptly to needs of company.

• Maintain a constant awareness of safety problems and report unsafe conditions and exposure of senior supervisor.

• Attending and successfully completing all internal training courses and requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent required.

• Experience in communication skills, management skills.

• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

• Be organized, flexible and able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines pressures.

• Must be able to maintain high levels of confidence.
