APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Strasburg, VA looking to add a Logistics Manager to their new operation. Their primary responsibility will be ensuring efficient coordination of supply chain activities, accurate recordkeeping, and uninterrupted material flow. Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate all logistics and supply chain operations
Oversee movement, storage, and tracking of materials
Ensure proper recordkeeping and chain of custody documentation
Develop logistics strategies to improve efficiency
Identify and resolve supply chain disruptions
Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and third-party partners
Analyze logistics data to drive improvements
Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
Adapt to changing operational conditions
Communicate effectively across teams and resolve issues quickly
Actively participate in the management team which determines priorities, resolves issues and plans for the development of the recycling plant
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in Logistics management role
Proven experience managing logistics functions
Exceptional coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong data analytics and logistics systems experience
Proven track record of developing and implementing action plans to improve efficiency
High degree of attention to detail, data accuracy, and recordkeeping skills
Possesses strong written & verbal communications with all levels of management, time management, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage complex/changing priorities
Demonstrated ability to make tough business and management decisions in a fast-paced environment
Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies along with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a result-driven, team-oriented environment
Personally driven and motivates others to excel
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
Availability to work extended hours/weekends as needed
