Location: Independence, OH 44131
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 1st Shift – 7:00am – 4:30pm (Friday can be a short day)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Associate / Packaging Mock-Up Specialist for a clean, well-lit manufacturer located in Independence, OH 44131.
This position will primarily support general production operations in a clean, steady-paced manufacturing environment. The production work is not physically difficult, but it does require consistency, focus, and the ability to keep up with a reliable pace throughout the shift.
On occasion, this person will also assist with the detailed and skilled creation of packaging mock-ups that may be reviewed by customers, clients, or internal teams. This part of the role requires creativity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to visualize how a flat 2D design or layout will appear once assembled into a 3D finished package.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general production duties in a steady-paced manufacturing environment
- Assemble, inspect, package, and prepare products for shipment
- Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Maintain quality standards throughout the production process
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
- Assist with detailed packaging mock-ups as needed
- Cut, fold, assemble, and prepare sample packaging for client review
- Understand how flat 2D materials will translate into finished 3D packaging
- Review finished mock-ups for accuracy, presentation, cleanliness, and detail
- Communicate any quality concerns, errors, or inconsistencies to supervisors
- Support other production or packaging tasks as assigned
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is dependable, careful, creative, and hands-on. This person does not need to be a professional designer, but should have a strong eye for detail and the ability to think visually.
A good fit for this role may be someone who enjoys art, design, crafting, packaging, model-making, print production, or other detailed hands-on work.
Qualifications
- Previous production, assembly, packaging, print, design, or mock-up experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail is required
- Creative mindset and good visual/spatial awareness
- Ability to understand how a 2D layout becomes a 3D finished product
- Comfortable working with hands on small, detailed tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain quality standards
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work at a steady pace
- Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods depending on task
- Ability to use hands for repetitive production or assembly work
