Water Damage Restoration Technician / Laborer

About the Role

We are a growing water damage restoration company looking for a reliable, hardworking Laborer to join our team. You will be on the front lines helping homeowners and businesses recover from water damage — performing careful demolition, thorough clean-up, and following detailed restoration checklists. This is a physically active, field-based role with real opportunities to grow within the company.

Compensation & Schedule

•       Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

•       Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (some days may run slightly past 5:00 PM)

•       Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

•       Overtime: Occasional overtime required and compensated accordingly

•       On-Call: Rotating on-call responsibility every other week for after-hours emergencies

Key Responsibilities

•       Perform controlled demolition of water-damaged materials (drywall, flooring, cabinetry, etc.) without causing additional damage to surrounding structures

•       Execute thorough clean-up and debris removal at job sites

•       Follow detailed job checklists accurately and completely on every project

•       Clock in and out at each job site as directed — travel directly between job sites as needed

•       Handle and move equipment, materials, and debris — regularly lifting up to 50 lbs

•       Work efficiently and safely to help customers restore their properties

•       Communicate clearly with the team lead and report job progress

Requirements

•       Experience in demolition and/or construction clean-up — you know how to work carefully without creating new damage

•       Reliable and punctual — shows up on time, every time

•       Ability to clock in/out at job sites and travel independently between locations

•       Able to lift 50 lbs regularly without difficulty

•       Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required — you will drive to job sites)

•       Comfortable following detailed checklists and process-driven work

•       Able to be on-call every other week for after-hours emergency calls

•       Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
