Job Summary

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for safely blending chemical products to established quality control specifications while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. This role supports production operations through material handling, inventory management, equipment operation, and adherence to all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely blend chemical products according to established formulas and quality specifications.
• Transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Maintain an organized production and warehouse environment.
• Accurately identify, locate, and store materials in designated areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors of low stock or supply needs.
• Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance concerns, and safety issues promptly.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting activities as assigned.
• Support warehouse, production, and facility maintenance activities as needed.
• Follow all housekeeping, cleanup, and safety procedures.
• Adhere to company policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to learn production processes and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to operate basic computer systems and equipment.
• Willingness and ability to become forklift certified.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or chemical blending experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Hazardous materials (HazMat) training or experience.
• Experience working in a production or industrial environment.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stand for extended periods of time.
• Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Perform bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and other physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to work around moving machinery, chemicals, and production equipment.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Frequent exposure to moving mechanical equipment, airborne particles, and industrial conditions.
• Moderate noise levels.
• Occasional outdoor work may be required.
• Occasional weekend work may be required.
• Typical shifts range from 8 to 10 hours per day.
