Automotive Technician Automotive Mechanic

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is looking for a family-oriented work environment in the automotive repair field. This position will involve trouble shooting / diagnostic, and repair on all models and makes of gas engines, including light trucks. This position will require a high level of training and experience, and an ability to work independently without constant supervision and oversight.

HOURLY PAY STARTING AT $30-35

Requirements

· Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, & gas engine issues.

· Conduct maintenance inspections on fleet vehicles & identify issues prior to failures.

· Complete work/service performed reports for work-orders / estimates.

· Perform repairs and work orders as assigned and assign work orders to other technicians.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area while performing mechanical duties.

· Ensure all work completed complies with company and industry standards and best practices.

· Must possess a basic set of mechanical tools (at a minimum).

· Must be reliable to show up for work (on time) and complete scheduled work times.

Preferred Qualifications

· Gas engine technician certification or 5-year (minimum) experience.

· Superior knowledge of gas engine systems, cooling systems, A/C Systems, transmissions, suspensions, alignments, exhaust systems, and electrical wiring systems.

· Experience in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and wiring diagrams.

· Experience with diagnostic scanning tools.

· Experience with the removal and replacement of motors and transmissions.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds regularly

· Ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions

· Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb equipment for extended periods of time.

· Must be capable of working safely in high-paced work environments.
