What You'll Do

As a Customer Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for managing customer contract processes from initiation through completion while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, process, and maintain customer contracts with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support the full contract lifecycle, including contract setup, modifications, renewals, and approvals.
  • Assist with daily contract management and provisioning operations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of all contract-related activities and critical business processes.
  • Support customer enrollment, account management, and retention initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve contract issues and improve operational workflows.
  • Monitor system performance and maintain the integrity of contract-related data.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive operational efficiency.
  • Provide support to Contract Management team members and assist with special projects as needed.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required with 4 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in contract management, operations, administration, customer support, or a related business function, preferred if you have a bachelor's degree.

  • Ability to learn and understand energy and utility contracts and procurement processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple business functions.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, accounting procedures, and business operations is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts professionally and effectively.
