ISB Maintenance Technician

Position Summary
The ISB Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISB), packaging, and support equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role supports equipment operation, preventive maintenance, changeovers, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment changeovers.
• Monitor machine performance and make processing adjustments to optimize production and quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Inspect products for quality issues and communicate concerns to supervisors and Quality personnel.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE requirements, and clean room standards.
• Train and support operators on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, plastics, injection molding, or blow molding environments preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Must be available to work assigned shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
