JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Licenses: Active Louisiana License
• DEA / CDS: Active LA DEA and CDS
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (required for FM/IM; likely for all)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide emergency medicine care at a 5-bed ED in a critical access hospital
• Manage patient flow and treatment for approximately 19,000 annual visits
• Stabilize and treat a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries
• Utilize EPIC EMR for comprehensive clinical documentation
• Collaborate with available CT, MRI, Ultrasound, ICU, and other specialty services
