Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Tennessee-licensed Emergency Medicine physicians for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Johnson City, Tennessee. This hospital-based Emergency Medicine role provides full-spectrum emergency care with emergency procedures and trauma coverage, supported by Advanced Practice Provider coverage and Epic EMR documentation.

• Hospital Beds: 80 beds
• Setting: Hospital-based Emergency Department
• Coverage Model: 24-hour physician coverage with 22-hour Advanced Practice Provider coverage
• EMR: Epic

Clinical Scope

• Provide Emergency Medicine evaluation, stabilization, treatment, and disposition
• Manage emergency procedures and trauma care in a hospital setting
• Coordinate emergency care across multi-site operational needs as required
• Document care using Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Tennessee medical license
• DEA registration with a Tennessee address
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM, ABFM, ABIM, ABOS, or AAO)
• ACLS, ATLS, and PALS (if not Board Certified in Emergency Medicine)
• NRP for non-ABEM providers
• Supervising physician license (required for supervising Advanced Practice Providers)
