Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Hospitalist Physician in Lebanon, Virginia for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in an acute care setting. This role provides inpatient medicine coverage across acute care beds, including acuity-adjusted ICU/PCU beds, with Epic documentation and vent management responsibilities.

Opportunity Details

• Location: Lebanon, Virginia
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
• Setting: Acute care hospital with 53 acute care beds (including 5 acuity-adjusted ICU/PCU beds)
• Coverage: Ongoing
• EMR: Epic

Clinical Scope

• Inpatient medicine coverage in acute care beds, including acuity-adjusted ICU/PCU beds
• Vent management
• Supervising Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
• Documentation and order entry using Epic

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Virginia medical license
• DEA registration with a Virginia address
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM), Family Medicine (ABFM), or Medical Specialties (ABMS)
• ACLS certification
• Completion of an ACGME/AOA accredited 3-year residency program in EM/FM or IM
• Clinical experience documented via case logs (last 2 years)
• Facility-specific vent management training

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
• Vent management training specific to the facility
