Position Overview 

One of our Partners in Tennessee is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity offering advanced procedural volume, ERCP cases, dedicated APP support, and premium compensation.

This assignment is ideal for providers seeking concentrated week-long coverage blocks and a hospital-based Gastroenterology practice. Providers will perform inpatient consultations, endoscopy procedures, ERCP cases, and hospital rounding while working alongside experienced Endoscopy staff and APP support.

Most overnight responsibilities are managed through phone consultation, making this a highly attractive opportunity for providers seeking strong compensation with manageable call expectations.

Provider Pay: $5,000 per 24-hour coverage day

Pay Ranking: Top 5% nationally among Gastroenterology locum opportunities (2026).

All-Inclusive Assignment – No Travel, Lodging, Mileage, Airfare, or Rental Car Reimbursement Available.

Assignment Highlights

• Coverage may be required at both BRMC and HVMC
• Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM coverage blocks
• Approximately 8–10 onsite hours daily

• Epic EMR required
• Rare overnight callback volume
• First 4 callback hours included within daily compensation
• Callback compensation begins after 4 included hours
• Tennessee License or IMLC accepted
• Tennessee DEA required
