CNC Machine Operator

Job description:

We are looking for a dependable Ironworker Machine Operator to join our metal fabrication team. Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or machine operation is preferred. Candidates must be comfortable working with measurements and reading a tape measure accurately.

Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday, sometimes Saturday | 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM

Job Duties:

• Operate an Ironworker machine to punch holes and fabricate metal parts
• Cut, drill, grind, bend, and shape steel materials
• Read and use a tape measure accurately
• Follow work orders and production instructions
• Inspect finished parts for quality
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Assist with other shop duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing, fabrication, or machine operation experience preferred
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Basic math and measurement skills required
• Blueprint reading is a plus
• CNC, lathe, or punch press experience is helpful but not required
• Reliable and able to work independently

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
