Job Description
Johnson Service Group is seeking a skilled and experienced 2ND AND 3RD SHIFT CNC Setup Machinist for a 6-month contract position in the North Charleston, SC area.
Selected candidates MUST be a US Person / Citizen and MUST provide an available start date, DOB (MM/DD), and the last 4 digits of SSN in order to have their resume submitted to the client company.
This position requires a criminal background check as well as a drug screen.
Job Title: CNC Setup Machinist
Pay Rate: $29.00/hr
Location: North Charleston, SC (29418)
Core Hours:
SECOND SHIFT: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (M-F)
THIRD SHIFT: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
OT: Up to +2 hours a day and every other weekend
Orientation 1st week on 1st shift Location: Waukesha, WI (53188) ONSITE
Contract Length: 6-months
Possibility of Extension / Direct Hire: Possible extension / conversion to direct hire after contract ends; NOT guaranteed!
What You’ll Do:
- Setup and run CNC machines.
- Complete all required quality checks.
- 5S and safety related tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 or more years setting up CNC mills, lathes or grinders.
- Must have own steel-toe shoes; safety glasses will be provided.
- Knowledge of 5S and safety protocols.
- Experience performing quality checks.
- Ability to work overtime.
- Must be a United States Citizen or U.S. Person; this is a ITAR facility.
- HS Diploma or GED
